In lieu of a full-day conference, we will be producing free, online content for the PNW MBA community. President & Co-Chair
Libby Singer is the Assistant Director for Development at The Bush School, where she raises funds for student financial aid, faculty compensation, operating support, and capital projects. She has built her career in nonprofit fundraising and prior to joining Bush, she worked in development at the UW School of Public Health and Childhaven. As a volunteer, Libby serves as the VP of Signature Programs for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, in the local chapter, Advancement NW. In this role she oversees the two largest events, a two-day professional development conference and the region’s celebration of philanthropy, National Philanthropy Day. Libby earned a degree in History from the UW and is currently enrolled in the Leadership MBA Program at UW Bothell.
Co-Chair & VP of Operations
Darrick is a Safety Specialist at the Boeing Company where he actively identifies areas of opportunity to improve workplace health and safety. Incorporating the education, training, and experience he receives from his Leadership MBA, he plans to collaborate and build teams that champion a stronger safety culture.
Darrick received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Hawai'i and has a Master's degree in Occupational and Environmental Exposure Science from the University of Washington. In his spare time, you can find Darrick researching shark biology or playing videogames with his family and cat.
VP Marketing & Comm. Relations
Vin Keane, founder of Gauge Medical LLC, is a medical communications and digital marketing expert with over 25-years of experience in the development, launch, distribution, and analysis of medical, educational, and promotional content products. Previously he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Clinical Care Options, LLC, and Senior Director of Marketing for Medscape.com. Vin is a member of the Seattle Chapter of the Digital Analytics Association and plays tennis when he can. Vin has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and English from Lehigh University and an Award of Achievement in Web Analytics from the University of British Columbia. He is currently enrolled in the Technology MBA Program at UW Bothell.
VP of Strategic Partnerships
Kelsea is the Director of Sales for National Accounts at LOUD Audio, LLC, where she manages business strategy and relationships with the nation's top musical instrument retailers to drive revenue growth and awareness of the Mackie brand. With over a decade of experience in MI retail, Kelsea uses her expertise and progressive outlook to lead beyond her role by supporting cultural initiatives within the industry. An avid pianist herself, she is most passionate about improving youth access to music technology education and the promotion of women as leaders in music. Kelsea earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California Lutheran University and is currently pursuing an MBA in Leadership from UW Bothell.
VP of Engineering
Alan is a software engineer and founder with over ten years of experience in the software industry, both in small startups and big corporations. Alan currently works at Microsoft's Supply Chain team, which supports manufacturing operations for Microsofts 1st party devices. In 2017 Alan co-founded and acted as board chair then CEO at omegaUp, a non-profit organization that aims to increase the number of talented software engineers in Latin America. Alan earned his bachelor's degree in computer systems engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Celaya, where he co-founded and acted as CEO of Caffeina Software, which built software for small businesses in the region. Currently, Alan is pursuing an MBA in Leadership from UW Bothell Business School.
VP of Attendee Experience
Emelina is the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Development at the University of Washington, Seattle. In her role, she manages special projects, developes and improves processes, and coordinates communications in support of the university’s $5B fundraising campaign. Her background includes work in digital marketing and in the non-profit sector. Emelina is interested in the intersections between business and social impact, and is guided by her passion for education and desire to tackle tough problems. In her spare time, Emelina is an avid reader and enjoys Olympic weightlifting. Emelina earned her Bachelor’s degree in marketing from the Michael G. Foster School of Business, and is current enrolled in the Leadership MBA program at UW Bothell.
VP of Finance
Cara is a financial analyst supporting the 777X Program at Boeing. In her current role, she tracks and reports the program's financial opportunities and risks, forecasts and analyzes cost variances and helps ensure forecast accuracy, and coordinates with finance and engineering teams across the company. In her spare time, Cara enjoys teaching dance to children. She has also helped open a local dance studio in Bellevue. Cara is a member of a wide range of organizations including, Women in Aviation, Women in Leadership and is a volunteer in the Special Olympics sports. Cara earned a degree in Finance and International Business at Washington State University and is currently in the Technology MBA program at UW Bothell.
First-Year MBA Representative
Suha is a full time MBA student with the background in telemdicine user research for the developing countries. She is the graduate student representative for the Diversity, Equity,and Community Engagement Council (DECEC) for the UW Bothell School of Business. In her role, she is facilitating the council in identifying goals and objectives to maintain an inclusive climate that fosters academic and professional success for the students and serves the community . Suha is passionate about products/projects that intend to make technology inclusive and relevant to a diverse group of users. Being on a 24 hrs job as a mother of a toddler, she hardly gets any spare time but if she does she loves spending it with family and friends.
